Huntington Honored As A Top Bank Clients Recommend For Wealth, Investment Services
COLUMBUS, Ohio — March 7, 2016 — Financial research group Greenwich Associates has named Huntington Bank as one of the top banks for client likelihood to recommend its wealth and investment services.
The Greenwich Excellence Award for “Likelihood to Recommend” is based on results from the group’s annual wealth management research program, which included interviews with 8,000 business owners and executives across the country.
Of the more than 150 banks and firms Greenwich Associates evaluated, only seven firms and four banks received recognition. Huntington was the only Midwest-based bank to earn an award.
“At Huntington, we take a personalized, high-touch approach to wealth and investments. We know our clients by name, who they are and what matters most to them,” said Jim Dunlap, head of Huntington’s Private Client Group.
“This award reflects our commitment to give our clients a dedicated financial advisor they can count on to put their needs first and look out for them for life. We’re proud to have their recommendation.”
Greenwich Excellence Awards Methodology
Greenwich Excellence Award winners were determined at a national level. To qualify for consideration of an award, each winning wealth management provider had to have a minimum of 40 clients who responded to the survey.
Award selection is based on top box ratings on Greenwich Associates’ five-point evaluation scale. The wealth management providers selected must receive a statistically significant proportion of “excellent” ratings relative to the overall mean (at a 95-percent confidence level).
